2021 Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey

Micro and Small Industry (IMK) business development is seen as important in

development of the industrial sector, especially as a contributor to the national economy.

In order to make policy and develop the manufacturing sector, accurate data and information are needed. Therefore, an Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey was held to provide a quality IMK database for policy makers in all regions throughout Indonesia. The Annual Micro Small Industry Survey aims to determine the profile of IMK, potential areas in Indonesia that can be used as material for planning macroeconomic activities. The 2021 IMK Survey series took place from the beginning of July to the end of September 2021, preceded by training activities, listing (household registration), then after processing and validation, samples were obtained for enumeration activities. In Sukabumi Municipality, the IMK survey listing was conducted in 37 Census Blocks (working areas, part of a Kelurahan), spread across all sub-districts with a total of 26 officers consisting of supervisors/investigators and field enumerators. Due to the pandemic period, adequate health protocols have been implemented, even in areas that are red zones, data collection is not carried out directly, but through telephone media. It is hoped that the cooperation of business actors to realize quality data for the progress of all parties.
