Tourism has an important role in national development, especially as a driver of the community's economy. Tourism activities are a very long and broad chain of activities that accommodate employment and expand employment opportunities and can encourage other economic activities. The tourism business in Indonesia is quite encouraging considering that there are quite a lot of potential tourist destinations, such as natural beauty, diversity, and cultural uniqueness found in Indonesia. One of the many tourism industries is accommodation companies/businesses or hotels/inns. With the increasing number of activities in hotels, such as seminars, meetings, workshops, and other MICE activities, it is necessary to collect data/information about the characteristics of hotels which are very important to obtain indicators, such as the occupancy rate or hotel occupancy rate, average length of stay, and so on. Hotel occupancy rate data can be used to see the economic development of a region. The purpose and benefit of this activity is to collect data on the occupancy rate of hotel rooms, the number of guests staying, and the average length of stay of guests. It is hoped that this data/information can be used as the basis for planning and evaluation, both by government and private agencies, to determine policies related to tourism businesses and activities. Frequency of activity: monthly and yearly.
