Cropping Survey Sub Round 1 2024

One of the important information needed in the calculation of food crop production is the yield per hectare (productivity) which is routinely collected every subround (4 months) through the Cropping Survey. The objective of the Cropping Survey is to obtain productivity levels of rice and secondary crops, for which different methods are applied. The Cropping Survey of rice plants uses an area frame using data from the Area Sampling Framework (ASF), the sample of the ASF-based Rice Cropping Survey is the selected ASF subsegment.

The Cropping Survey Officer of BPS-Statistics Sukabumi Municipality consisted of 7 enumerators (PCL) and 2 supervisors/inspectors (PML). This team conducted the 2024 Subround 1 Cropping Survey on January 11, 2024 in Karang Tengah Village, Gunung Puyuh Subdistrict. The rice variety affected by the survey this time was the Merauke variety with a yield of 4.34 kg per plot.
