Abstract

In January 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Sukabumi Municipality of 2.57 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.37.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 6 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.54 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.9 percent; health group by 3.48 percent; transportation group by 1.56 percent; education group by 0.09 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 1.5 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.28 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Sukabumi Municipality in January 2024 were 0.47 percent respectively.
