Abstract

In March 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Sukabumi Municipality of 3.13 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.42.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in almost all expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 7.71 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.31 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.73 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.93 percent; health group by 4.26 percent; transportation group by 0.49 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 2.92 percent; education group by 0.09 percent; food and beverage supply/restaurant group by 2.09 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.64 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rates of Sukabumi Municipality in March 2024 were 0.63 percent and 1.47 percent, respectively.
