Abstract

In May 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Sukabumi Municipality ity of 2.52 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.43.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in almost all expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 5.91 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.24 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.66 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.06 percent; health group by 3.31 percent; transportation group by 0.16 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 3.07 percent; education group by 0.09 percent; food and beverage supply/restaurant group by 1.85 percent; and personal care and other services group by 7.05 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Sukabumi Municipality in May 2024 were 0.16 percent and 1.48 percent, respectively.
