The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) has followed the development of international discourse regarding the measurement of subjective well-being by carrying out a series of research activities and developing instruments for measuring the level of happiness since 2012. Subjective well-being generally includes a broader concept, which is defined as a good mental condition, including positive evaluation. and negatives taken in life and affect reactions to those experiences. With this background, a survey was conducted to measure the level of happiness, namely the Happiness Level Measurement Survey (SPTK).
In summary, the objectives and benefits of SPTK Activities:
1. Generate data and information related to happiness that can be presented to represent the state of happiness of the population at the national and provincial levels;
2. Produce indicators that represent the level of happiness of the Indonesian population nationally and provincially
3. Generate general information data of household members,
The training of SPTK Sukabumi Municipality officers was held online by the BPS-Statistics of Jawa Barat Province by utilizing the Zoom application on 20-23 June 2021 (Training Phase I).
This activity involved 6 enumerators (data collectors) and 2 supervisors/investigators from the Social Statistics Function. The enumeration method used the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) system, in which the results of interviews with respondents were directly inputted into the officers' equipment.
The data collection was held from July 1 to August 27, 2021, underwent an extension of time in the field adjusted to the situation of Emergency PPKM, still with the application of health protocols according to standards.
The SPTK 2021 in Sukabumi Municipality is carried out in the sampling areas, which is spread over seven sub-districts, namely 15 Census Blocks (statistical work areas) with a total sample of 150 households.
